Installer guide

This guide is for installation companies that want consumer leads through Stockisto. It covers registration, the approval gate, the leads board, quote requests, coverage areas, the dashboard and your team. The installer portal is a separate app from the supplier dashboard. It is available in English and Swedish; switch with the EN/SV toggle in the top bar.

How the installer network works

Stockisto connects suppliers (the brands), retailers (where products are sold) and installers (you). When a shopper finds a product on a supplier's locator, they can ask for an installer. That request becomes a lead routed to your company.

Before that can happen, your company must be registered and approved:

  • Leads only reach a company whose approval status is Approved.
  • Your company only appears in the public installer finder when it is Approved and your profile is set to visible.

Step 1: Register your company

Open Register in the installer portal and fill in the form:

On success you see Application received. Click Continue setup to start the onboarding wizard, or Go to sign in.

Already registered?

Registering the same organisation number again does not create a second company. If you think your company exists already, sign in instead.

Your company starts with approval status Pending and directory visibility off. Neither leads nor public discovery are active yet.

The onboarding wizard

The wizard has five steps: Company profile, Trades and specialties, Coverage areas, Credentials (you can skip this) and Finish your profile. Your draft is saved between steps, so you can come back later.

Signing in

Sign in at the portal Sign In page in one of three ways:

  • Password: email and password. Forgot it? Click Forgot your password? and then Send reset link.
  • Magic link: click Email me a magic link instead. We send a one-time sign-in link.
  • Google: click Sign in with Google.

The sidebar has two groups. Workspace: Dashboard, Leads, Live chat, Quote requests, Service area, Installed base, Profile and Reviews. Account: Team, Notifications, Settings and Connected assistants.

Step 2: Complete your profile

Open Profile from the sidebar. It holds what shoppers see and the capabilities that decide which searches you appear in.

Contact details and visibility

Set your Contact email, Contact phone, Website, Trustpilot review page and Description, then click Save profile.

Under Directory visibility, the switch Show my company in the installer directory controls whether you appear in the public finder.

Visibility is required for discovery

Even after approval, your company does not appear in the finder until this switch is on. Approved but getting no leads? Check this first.

Capabilities

Capabilities describe what you install and service. Each one has a Category (required, for example Heat pumps), and optionally a Brand, a Service type and Years experience.

Shoppers filter the finder by service type and brand, and those options come from the capabilities of approved, visible installers.

Add at least 3 capabilities

Your dashboard flags companies with fewer than three capabilities. A thin list limits how often you surface in searches.

Step 3: The approval gate

Until your company is Approved, lead submission is blocked. A shopper who tries to send you a lead gets the error Installer is not approved to receive leads. Nothing is queued for later.

What the statuses mean

  • Pending: newly registered, awaiting review. No leads, no public listing.
  • Approved: can receive leads and, with visibility on, appear in the finder.
  • Rejected: not admitted to the network.
  • Revoked: previously approved, now suspended.

Supplier-level certification

Individual suppliers can also review you for their own brands. A supplier's status moves through Pending, Approved and Certified, and a supplier can Revoke at any time.

Suppliers manage this; you do not. You get an email when a supplier approves, certifies or revokes you.

Keep your contact email current

Approval, certification and revocation emails go to the contact email on your Profile.

Step 4: Work leads on the board

Open Leads from the sidebar. Leads sit in five columns: New, Contacted, Quoted, Won and Lost. An empty column reads No leads here.

Each card shows the shopper's name (or Anonymous), how long the lead has been open (Today or N d open) and its source: Direct, Callback or Bundle. Filter by source, service type, status or needs attention. The top bar shows how many leads are shown.

Lead detail and status changes

Click a card to open the lead. It has three cards:

  • Consumer information: name, email, phone, location, service type and the message from the consumer.
  • Lead source: the source store, product, product SKU and supplier.
  • Manage lead: a Pipeline status dropdown and Installer notes, which the consumer never sees.

Click Save changes to save. A won lead also gets a Job completion card, where you register what you fitted. That feeds your Installed base.

Consent

Every lead shows Consent given to be contacted or Consent not given. Stockisto refuses a lead without consent, so incoming leads show consent given.

Quote requests

Quote requests is a separate inbox. A shopper posts a job, Stockisto matches it to nearby installers, and each installer can answer with a price range and a message. Click Send quote to answer. Statuses are Awaiting quote, Quoted, Won, Not selected and Closed.

Step 5: Define your coverage areas

Open Service area from the sidebar. Coverage areas decide where nearby job requests can reach you.

  1. Click the map to drop a pin. The panel reads New area at {lat}, {lng}.
  2. Give it a Name (optional), for example Stockholm metro.
  3. Set Radius (km). The default is 25, the maximum 500.
  4. Click Add area.

If the map fails to load, use Add an area without the map and type latitude and longitude.

The Coverage areas list shows each area with its name and radius. Click Confirm now and then to show the area is still current; an old one reads Not confirmed in N days. Click Remove to delete an area. Areas you entered during onboarding wait under From your application until you place them on the map.

The public finder filters and ranks installers by distance from the shopper to your coverage areas.

Step 6: Read the dashboard

The Dashboard has four sections:

  • Waiting on you: your oldest open leads, New first. It reads You're all caught up when empty.
  • Lead pipeline: a count per stage, and how many decided leads you won.
  • Profile & services health: a completeness score with actions such as Publish your profile, Add at least 3 capabilities and Add your service area.
  • Find performance: profile views, direction requests, calls, website clicks and callback requests from the public finder.

Getting no leads? Check three things

Is your status Approved? Is Directory visibility on? Do your capabilities and coverage areas match what shoppers search for?

Step 7: Invite your team

Open Team from the sidebar and click Invite a teammate.

  1. Enter the colleague's Email address and click Send invite.
  2. The invite sits under Pending invites with its expiry date. Invites expire after 14 days.
  3. Click Revoke to cancel a pending invite.

Your colleague follows the emailed link. If they already have an account, they sign in and the invite is applied on their first visit. They then see the same leads, profile and coverage areas.

From the same page the owner can hand the company over to a teammate with Make owner.
